I am grateful for Adventure
Hello creative friends. I hope everyone is having a good week and staying safe. My week is going ok so far, but this year has been a very challenging year for me due to medical and family issues so I have not been able to do as much creating this year as I would like. I was however able to get in the art room this past weekend and create an art journal page for Dina Wakley's year of gratitude challenge. The challenge for March is I am grateful for adventure. I decided to create a page about being grateful for adventures in creativity as I feel that each art journal page I create is an adventure because I never know in which direction it will go or how it will turn out. Even when I have pre-conceived notions about what I want the art journal page to look like, it always ends up looking completely different, so I've learned to just start adding to the page and let the page develop as I go along. For this art journal page I used my Dina Wakley art journal, Dina Wakley paints, Dina Wakley stencils, Dyalog Stencil, Dina Wakley Scribble sticks, Staz-on ink pad and some letter stamps from my stash. Here are pictures of the art journal page I created.
And here is the video showing how I created this page.
I really like the way this art journal page turned out. And as mentioned above life has been very challenging for me at this time, so I will only be posting when I am able to. I hope everyone stay's safe. Thank you for stopping by and watching my video, until next time Happy Creating.

I am Grateful for Creativity and Book of Days Class Journal Pages
Hello creative friends. I hope everyone is having a good week. This week I have a couple of journal pages that I did for the Book of Days Class I signed up for this year. Here are the journal pages I created.
I really like the way these turned out and had fun creating them.
I also created an art journal page for the Dina Wakley Year of Gratitude challenge, however this is the challenge for December. I'm a little behind on the challenge, but still wanted to do them all. I created this page in my small Dina Wakley Media journal using Dina Wakley Collage Collection, Dina Wakley Acrylic paint, a china marker, Staz-on ink pad and ephemera from my stash. Here are pictures of the journal page I created for the December Challenge "I am grateful for creativity".
And here is the video showing how I created this page.
I had fun creating this page and having a lot of fun in the Book of Days class. Have you take the Book of Day's class before? If so I would love to hear about your experience with it. Thank you for stopping by and watching my video. Until next time, Happy Creating.

You Make My Heart Flutter Journal Page
Hello creative friends. I hope everyone is having a good week. My week has been going well. This week I have an art journal page I created for Valentine's Day in my Dina Wakley mixed media journal using Dylusions Journaling Tag, Tim Holtz Stencil, Fluorescent Acrylic Paint, Blick Modeling Paste, Craftsmart Acrylic Paint, Heart Stencil, Accents Angel Wing Stencil, Mica Powder, Glitter, Elmers Clear Craft Glue, Staz-on Ink Pads and Letter Stamps. I used acrylic paint through a stencil on the tag for the background and stamped over top of it once it was dry. I then colored modeling paste with red acrylic paint and put that through a stencil for the two larger hearts. I then colored modeling past with grey mica powder and put that through a stencil for the wings and then added glitter on top for extra shine. I then stamped my sentiment, cut it out and used an ink pad on the edges. I then put it all together and stapled the tag to a burlap page in my journal. Here is a picture of the journal page I created.
And here is the video showing how I created this page.
I really like the way this page turned out and I'm still working on my Book of Days 2020 and my 100 day project. Thank you for stopping by and watching my video. Until next time, Happy Creating.

We'll see if I can keep up with everything. The Down Deep only runs for January, so after that I will just have the Book of Days and the 100 Day project, and the Year of Gratitude and the Journal52, and, and.... LOL. What are you working on this year? Have you signed up for any good classes? I'd love to hear about it. Thank you for stopping by and watching my video. Until next time, Happy Creating.
