Art Journal Page - Courage to Go On and Revamped Journals

Hello creative friends.  Hope you are having a good week.  My week is going well.  This week I have an art journal page that I created and I also took time off  work last week and revamped the journals in my Etsy shop.  I added more decorations to the journals to decorate the cover and the pages.  I added clips and more tags to the journals.  I then added a chain of handmade Boho beads to the binding.  Here are some pics of the revamped journals.

And here is the picture of the art journal page I created.  I used watercolor paints to add color to the page and then Recollections watercolor brush pens to create the black lace on the page.  I added a picture from my stash to the page attached to black cardstock.  I then added some white lace and material to the picture.  I then finished it with off with some flowers and a quote.

And here is the video showing how I created this page.

I really like the way this page turned out and had a lot of fun revamping the journals in my Etsy shop.  Hopefully I will find a home for them.  If interested in any of the journals you can visit my Etsy shop at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/JoysArt360 and if you want to see a flip through any of the journals you can see them on my YouTube channel.  Thank you for stopping by and watching my video.  I hope you have a great week.  Until next time, Happy Creating.

And here is the video showing how I created this page.

I really like the way this page turned out and I had a lot of fun creating it.  Thank you for stopping by and watching my video.  I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.  Until next time, Happy Creating.

Art Journal Page - Morning Light and a Weekend Country Fair

Hello creative friends.  I hope everyone is having a good week.  My week is going well.  This past weekend me and my husband went to a county fair at our local national park. Fall is my favorite time of the year because that is when the weather in Florida cools off and there are lots of fall festivals to attend.  Here are a couple of pics from the country fair.

I also have an art journal page I created using Gesso, Watercolor paints, Staz-on Ink, stencils, gel medium, Posca pens, washi tape and ephemera from my stash.  I took scraps of a map and music note page and used gesso to adhere them to my page.  I added washi take and then added color to the page using watercolor paints.  Then I used Staz-on inks through stencils to add pattern to the page.  I adhered my picture, title and a quote to the page and then used my black Posca pen to trace around the picture, title and quote.  Here is a picture of the art journal page I created.

And here is the video showing how I created this page.

I had a lot of fun at the county fair and had fun creating this art journal page.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you for stopping by and watching my video.  I hope you have a great week.  Until next time, Happy Creating.

3 Tags and an Art Journal Page

Hello creative friends.  I hope everyone is having a great week.  My week is going well.  This week I have 3 tags and an art journal page I creating.  The art journal page I created while out with the Journey Daybook club.  The Journey Daybook club met at a park that has a farm once owned by a writer.  We took a tour of the house and then spend some time art journaling.  I drew a part of the house and then used watercolors to color it in.  Here is a picture of the art journal page that I created and some other pics from the outing.

And the tags I made using Dina Wakley stamps, a Dina Wakely Stencil and Recollections Watercolor brush pens I recently bought.  I also used my Prismacolor pencils, Artistrove watercolor set, Pentel markers and Basic modeling paste.  Here is a picture of the tags I made.

And here is a video showing how I created these tags.

I had a lot of fun with the Journey Daybook outing and creating the art journal page.  I also had a lot of fun creating these tags.  Not sure what I am going to do with them, but they were fun to make.  Thank you for stopping by and checking out my video.  I hope you have a great week.  Until next time, Happy Creating.
