Created another Portfolio for Watercolor Painings

Hello creative friends.  I hope everyone is having a good week.  My week is going well.  This week I have another portfolio I created for my watercolor paintings.  I used packaging that I received a shipment in, like before, however this time I decided to use napkins to cover the outside of it using gesso.  I then used Inktense blocks to color it and then stamped some butterflies on the outside.  I used some ribbon as a closure.  Here is a picture of the portfolio I created.

And here is a video showing how I created this second portfolio.

I really like these portfolios and can't wait to fill them up.  I hope everyone has a great week.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time, Happy Creating.

Lion on a Watercolor Background

Hello creative friends.  I hope everyone is having a good week.  My week has been going well.  This week I have a lion that I drew on a watercolor background and then colored it with watercolor pens.  Here is a picture of the lion I created.

And here is a video showing how I drew the lion.
I struggled with drawing this lion and still not 100% happy with it, but I decided it was good enough. All and all I am having fun drawing these animals on the watercolor backgrounds I created some time ago and thinking about creating more.  Thank you for stopping by and watching my video.  Until next time, Happy Creating.

Quick & Easy Travel Journal Cover

Hello creative friends.  I hope everyone is having a great week.  My week has been going well.  This week I have a quick and easy travel journal cover that I made using pattern paper, self-adhesive laminate, brads and elastic string.  Here is a picture of the travel journal cover I made.

I also added a couple of ribbons to it for book marks by looping the ribbon through the eyelet holes that I made to sting my elastic string for adding the inserts to the cover.

Here is the video showing how I made this journal cover.

I really like the way this journal turned out and I gave this to my granddaughter as a gift and she really likes the journal as well.  Please leave a comment if you have any questions.  Thank you for stopping by and watching the video.  I hope you have a great week.  Until next time, Happy Creating.

Happy New Year and a Hawk on a Watercolor Background

Hello creative friends and Happy New Year.  I hope everyone is having a great week and a great new year.  My week has been going good and I am looking forward to 2019.  This week I have a drawing of a hawk on another watercolor background that I created a while ago.  I have been having so much fun drawing animals on these watercolor backgrounds and thinking of creating more of these backgrounds once I've used these up.  I did a quick outline of the hawk in pencil and then drew it with a pen.  I then used watercolor pens to color in the hawk and used a white Signo pen for the highlights.  Here is a picture of the Hawk I created.

And here is a video showing how I created this drawing.

I really like the way this turned out and having so much fun with these drawings.  I hope you like them too.  Any questions or comments are appreciated.  I hope everyone has a great week.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time, Happy Creating.
