Creating Journals from Books

Hello creative friends.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I have a bunch of books that I got from the flee market quite a while ago, for only $1 for as many books as I could fit into a bag, with the intent of turning them into journals.  I decided it was time to do just that, however I didn't want to use the same method for all of them and decided to use several different methods for creating the journals starting with the easiest way to the more involved way.  Here are the videos I filmed showing several of the different ways I used to turn these books into journals.

I really like the ways these turned out and happy that I finally got them all turned into journals I can use.  Next I am going to use all the scraps, from making these journals, and making some fodder and ephemera to use in these journals. Creating a Journal from a Box

An Art Journal Page in my new Ledger Journal

Hello creative friends.  I hope you are doing well.  I created an art journal page in my new ledger journal using scrap papers, Dina Wakley tissue papers, acrylic paint and indian ink. Here is a video showing how I created this journal page.

ATC Cards for an Art Swap

Junk Journal Created for a Friend

Hello creative friends.  I hope you are doing well.  I received a lot of ephemera and papers from a friend and decided to make a junk journal for her and one for myself.  I used the papers I received from her for the pages and some of the decorations, but used packaging I had in my stash from a mailer to make the covers.  Here are a couple of videos showing how I made these journals and decorated them and a flip through of the completed journals.
